December Member’s Meeting

It’s that time of year again. LOLUG’s annual Christmas Party! If you are an adult fan of LEGO®, come join us for some AFOL fun, December 20th at the Northeast Police Substation Community Room, 4843 Huntington Ave. from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We will be handing out End of the Year awards, holding a White Elephant gift exchange ( See out MEETINGS page for more details), information on the Nebraska Brick Day 2018 announcement, and as always, talk about all things LEGO. 2017 Halloween Build Challenge
At the last LOLUG meeting, we held a Halloween building challenge. These are pictures of all the entries with “Jack Skellington” as the winner voted on by the members.

LOLUG at the Museum of American Speed
LOLUG was asked to be apart of the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Ne for their first annual LEGO Pit Stop Event. They invited families into the museum to take part in a build-an-race challenge. Each family was given a LEGO car set to build and race against each other down a custom made LEGO Derby track. LOLUG was asked to help enhance the experience by displaying some of our creations.

Sac Robotics Expo

Help LOLUG kick off our 2018 event season at our annual show during the 2018 Nebraska Robotics Expo State Championships at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum. 18th Annual LARHS Train Show

LOLUG in conjunction with the NBR (Nebraska Brick Railyard) is proud to announce will are officially headlining the 2018 Annual Lancaster Train Show February 18th and 19th at the Lancaster Event Center Pavilion 2. Since this event last year, NBR has grown and added many new builds so come join in the fun and help support us in this ongoing partnership.
