    March Member’s Meeting

    Was your New Year’s resolution to build with more LEGO? LOLUG can help you keep that resolution! Our next monthly meeting will be Wed. March 21st in Omaha at the Milton Abrahams Public Library 5111 North 90th from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

    We have meetings every month of the year where adult fans of LEGO gather to discuss our favorite brick! Our meetings can get a bit crowded but we will have plenty of chairs and tables!

    This month we will have a mosaic presentation from member Justin Chrisp (Yours Truly). This was postponed from the January meeting. If you are interested in creating this art form from LEGO then this is a meeting you won’t want to miss!

    We also will draft set # # 75099 Star Wars Rey’s Speeder. If you wish to participate; please bring the sealed set to the meeting. If you are unsure of what a draft is – please look at our website under meetings.

    In addition to all of that, we will be discussing upcoming shows and events. Always wondered what our meetings are like? Now is the best time to stop by and check one out. Hope to see you all there.

    Nebraska Brick Days will be discussed as our big convention approaches in March! We will also be talking about our other events that will be taking place in the first quarter of 2018.

    We also will have pizza ($4.00) and of course we spend time talking about our favorite hobby – LEGO!

    Newly Added to Nebraska Brick Days 2018

    LOLUG is excited to announce that Brickmania will be appearing at Nebraska Brick Days! They will be vending their incredible custom sets, minifigs, weapons, and games! Brickmania’s owner, LEGO guru, and builder Daniel Siskind’s 25′ long USS Missouri will also be docking in Council Bluffs!

    The dates and venue have been set! Nebraska Brick Days 2018 will be at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa March 10th and 11th! Brick Days 2018 will be bigger and better! Please spread the word! If you want to display your creations at the event – start building because this is an event you won’t want to miss! More information will be available soon.     It’s that time of year again. LOLUG’s annual Christmas Party! If you are an adult fan of LEGO®, come join us for some AFOL fun, December 20th at the Northeast Police Substation Community Room, 4843 Huntington Ave Lincoln, NE. from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We will be handing out End of the Year awards, holding a White Elephant gift exchange ( See out MEETINGS page for more details), information on the Nebraska Brick Day 2018 announcement, and as always, talk about all things LEGO.
