    May Member’s Meeting

    With the snow gone and temperatures on the rise, it’s a perfect time to hit up a LOLUG meeting. This mouth we are back in Omaha on May the 15th at the Milton R. Abrahams library @5111 N 90th St, Omaha, Ne from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

    This mouth we will be having a presentation on “TAGG And Ho it Can Help Our LUG”, discussing both Brickworld-Chicago and Kansas City, along with a set draft of Sweet Surprises # 31077, and as always, any all new news from LEGO. Feel free to stop and check us out.

    Whew….what an event!! Did you miss Nebraska Brick Days?? No worries. The April meeting is just around the corner in Lincoln. We are getting together on April 17th from 6-8 at the Loren Corey Library to talk in depth about this amazing event. We will also be turning our heads towards this summer by starting the planning of Brickworld Chicago and Brickworld Kansas City. If you are interested in info about any of these events, you won’t want to miss this meeting. And as per usual, we will be hanging and talking about all things LEGO. Hope to see you all there, and until we do….PLAY WELL!!

    Nebraska Flood Victims LEGO Drive

    LOLUG cares about our fellow LEGO fans and during Nebraska Brick Days we collected new sets to be distributed to families that lost everything because of the recent flooding. Thank you to everyone who donated and thank you again to IowaLUG, KC Brick Lab, Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club, PennLUG, IndyLUG and DFW LUG.

    This month’s meeting has been moved up a week to March 13th but but still the same Bat Time, same Bat Channel 6:30-8:30 at the Abrahams Library in Omaha.  due Nebraska Brick Days. We will be discussing last minute details about the event, Drafting set # 31077 Sweet Surprises, and updated everyone of news and notes from the LEGO Ambassador Network.

    Nebraska Brick Day ’19

    Time is almost upon us again. Time for the 3rd annual Brick Days event, March 30th & 31st at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA

    LOLUG is excited to announce that renown builder Brian Williams will be attending Nebraska Brick Days in March of 2019!

    Brian will be bringing his incredible Indiana Jones layout along with many of his other creations!

    His work has resulted in numerous awards at LEGO Conventions throughout the years! Don’t be afraid to ask questions as Brian will explain his creations to you and point out the endless details.

    Brian is joining members of LOLUG, NILTC, PennLUG, as well as adult fans from IowaLUG, CowLUG, KC Brick Lab, WisLUG, DFWLUG and ArkLUG.

    This year’s list of vendors is better than last. Brickmania, It’s A Block Party, Brick Model Railroader, Brickstuff, Brickcrafts, Brick Print Studio, and of course Hobbytown.

    Love is in the air….the love for LEGO that is. If you’ve caught the LEGO bug, now is the perfect time to stop by one of our meetings. This month we will be in Lincoln at the Loren Corey Eiseley Library, 1530 Superior Street.

    Will be recapping LOLUG’s first two events of the year, discussing Brick Days, and if you were fortune-it enough to pick up the Walmart holiday set Creative Box # 10704, we will be drafting that too. Oh, I almost for got, as per the norm, we will be talking about all things LEGO including new sets, news, and what to look for in the coming month. Hope to see you there.

    Happy New Year!!! 2019 is finally here and it’s shaping up to be LOLUG’s best year yet. Why you ask?? To find the answers to that question, and many others you may have, stop by our January member’s meeting. Meeting starts at 6:30 pm on Wednesday Jan. 16th at the Milton R Abrahams Library in Omaha, NE. We will be discussing all of LOLUG’s plans, events, and activities for the upcoming year including the mother (in-law) of all LEGO shows, Nebraska Brick Days. And as usual there will be food, fun, friends, and talk of all things LEGO.

    Start off 2019 on the right foot and get your self to a meeting and until then, PLAY WELL!!

    December Member’s Meeting

    It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Thank you everyone for all your hard work in 2019 in helping LOLUG continue to grow and show our love for the LEGO hobby! With the white stuff starting to fall and the overweight Jolly guy just around the corner comes the annual LOLUG Christmas Party. This month We will be announcing the LOLUG award winners for 2019, recapping 2019 along with looking forward at what the first half of 2020 looks like, and as always, we will be doing our White Elephant Gift Exchange. Please bring a LEGO related item (at least $10 in value) that is wrapped and let the madness begin!

    Come join us for some holiday snacks, fun, and you guessed it, any and all things LEGO. We will be in Lincoln to finish off the year at the Eiseley Library, 1530 Superior Street from 6-8 pm
