    May the Force Be With You at Omaha Children’s Museum

    LOLUG will be at the Omaha Children’s Museum’s May the Force Be With You Family Fun Weekend.  Bring the family in for Star Wars fun, including LEGO Star Wars creations.  We’ll have LEGO bricks the kids can play and build with too.

    LOLUG will be there on Saturday and Sunday:

    Saturday – Sunday 9 am – 5 pm

    • Galactic Crafts at the Tinker Tables
    • Watto’s Podracers in the Tinker Factory Make a hovercraft/podracer!
    • Star Wars Science Shows in the Science Showplace Friday: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm Saturday-Sunday: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm
    • Lightsaber Construction in the STEAM Cave Use pool noodles and duct tape to make your own lightsaber

    Character Appearances

    Friday Ahsoka (Wandering on First Floor) 10 – 11 am, 11:30 – 12:30 pm, and 2 – 3:30 pm

    Saturday – Sunday The 501st Legion will be here, doing Imperial Marches and then meet-and-greets immediately following! Marches are at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm

    Special Programming

    Friday From 10 am – 1 pm, visit the Do Space table for some doodle bot programming!

    Saturday – Sunday Lincoln/Omaha Lego User Group will have Star Wars LEGO builds on the Dance Floor!

    Purchase art from local artist Nick Rivers in the lobby!

    LEGO Pit Stop

    LOLUG will be displaying creations at the Pit Stop event put on by the Museum of American Speed.

    Event registration is limited to 20 teams per day. Each team is welcome to preregister for Saturday or Sunday.

    This meeting has been cancelled due to winter weather!

    We will have the gift exchange in February – so hold your presents.  LUG awards will be in January.

    Brick Days Omaha. Tickets will be opening on January 1st. VIB tickets will be for sale on the brick days website.  Volunteer spots will be opening in March.

    LEGO Pit Stop – if you want to display at the Museum of American Speed’s event – please reply on Discourse by December 31st. I will have to get them our space requests so they know how many tables they need. One of the best events that we do.


    The end of the year meeting is usually the best!

    We will have some quick LOLUG business along with news from the LEGO Ambassador Network.

    We will announce our LUG Awards for 2022.

    Finally we will have our white elephant gift exchange. If you want to participate please bring a wrapped LEGO related item valued $10-$20.

    The rules for the exchange are as follows:
    Members participating will draw numbers to determine the order.

    The first member selects a gift and opens it. The second member can steal the first gift or open a new wrapped gift.

    A gift can be stolen twice before it is “locked”. The exchange continues until all the gifts are opened.
